All original 1926 Iowa truck license plate, in very good+++++ condition. White on maroon colors. This plate is straight, with no serious damages at all. No bends, deep scratches, tears, cracks, deep rust or tarnish. There are a few tiny, light scratches from use, and a few light shelf storage marks. No extra holes, or other serious damages are seen. There are boltmarks on the bottom corner boltholes. A very nice presentation piece. Not bad for being 90 years old. These plates from the 1920’s are very difficult to find in nice condition, because they became faded, tarnished and rusted so easily over the years. The back of this plate is almost perfect! This is an embossed, steel plate.
