You are bidding on a matched pair of 1930 Georgia License plates. I was told they were purchased as DMV overrun, never issued to a vehicle, and were used as roof shingles during the depression. The black part on the front of the plates appears to be a form of roofing tar sealant which did a great job in protecting the plates underneath. Plates have very little rust and would be excellent for restoration or to keep as is. Please review the pictures carefully to ensure they will meet your needs prior to bidding.
