1931 Washington DC License Plate District of Columbia DEALER Low Number Digit #2
“GOOD-VERY GOOD”
This terrific, rare old license plate is in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition and has all original paint that still retains nice gloss after more than 80 years. The bottom of the large D is partly unpainted as a slight stamping error, due to its proximity to the Dist. Of text. Curiously, the plate pictured in the ALPCA online archives is D-3, and on that one the D appears to have the same issue.Unlike the regular passenger car D.C. plates of this era, these scarce Dealer plates were issued in singles only, (not pairs). This classic old tag is nice and solid and straight. It lays flat with no bends or warp, and there are no extra holes. Priority Mail shipping is a low $5.99 in the US.YES, we combine shipping costs!
