I had these original New York State Vintage Plates on my 1932 Chevrolet Confederate. I sold the vehicle roughly three to four years ago and surrendered the number. I checked with the local DMV office on 2/22/2016 at the time of this posting with the NYSDMV and the registration tag number is still available.
Please check with Custom Plate Dept. at DMV or your local DMV Office to determine if this number is usable on your vintage car. I am not guaranteeing anything. You must make the call yourself.
