Slightly larger, heavy steel tag has a golden yellow base with jet-black embossed lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and STILL has AMAZING paint gloss! There is almost NO WEAR from use on this tag--not even the bolt holes show ANY signs of mounting. Probably was NEVER used on a motor vehicle. There are VERY FEW "34 California tags in better shape than this one! A beautiful plate that will satisfy even the most discerning collectors.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with ABSOLUTELY NO bends, NO EXTRA HOLES and almost NO surface rust. Some scattered paint chips and hairline scratches to high points of registration, as shown, are the only imperfections. Metal and paint are ABSOLUTELY SOLID.
