This plate is DMV clear as of 8/30/2017. Please keep in mind that New York DMV lists on their website that the plate must be original. I have read that many collectors restore the plates once registered. I recommend you check with the DMV on necessary condition and to see if they are still clear. This may not qualify as usable in it"s current condition given the paint wear.
