very nice mechanically restored 100% original Massachusetts license plate pair. 1937 issue; number 484,531. 16 x 6 inches; white legend on green background. the plates have been expertly repainted using the exact same process by which they were originally manufactured: a roll-coater was used to apply the white highlights. just like in the state prison in 1937. the plates lie almost completely straight and flat, and have perfect gloss foreground and background.
I am not familiar with Massachusetts Year of Manufacture law, as I work mainly with California plates, so I do not know if this pair may be legally registered for road use.
