Item or bid is one 1939 Ohio Side Car License Plate. This is an original license plate. I picked this up over thirty years ago. When I got it, it was covered in old barn paint so I had it stripped over at the strippers. The bottom edge has some rust out that will need to be repaired. The two holes at the bottom are punched from the factory altho in 1939 the plate should just have the two holes at the top. I assume they just doubled stamped the blank when they made it. Very minor straightening needed at the bolt holes and edge. Plate lays flat and is not bent up. No rust pitting. Only the rust at the bottom edge. I never got around to the restoration as I picked up a 39 with fair paint for my collection. Don"t have any use for this one. Will make a great plate when restored. Low number and nicely centered. A hard to find plate.
