Hello up for auction is a set of Illinois plates from 1940 to 1949
1943 - 1948 are all soybean plates
1948 is a set which one has been cut on corner and top, the third 1948 plate is a single plates
All plates are in ok condition with no serious damage, besides one of the 1948 plates and the smaller 1949 plate is pretty beat up. They all have wear/scratches/dings and some bends. The bigger 1949 plate seems the numbers have been repainted.
Some of the soybean plates have been cut along the top edge of Illinois
This would be a great start of a collection or to fill in the missing years of your collection now
