Lightweight tag has a silver-gray painted base with forest green embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still terrific paint gloss. Green lettering stands out FANTASTICALLY from silver base. Includes the VACATIONLAND nickname embossed at bottom. A great piece of Americana from the year before the USA entered World War II!
Plate is totally STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS, NO EXTRA HOLES, and almost NO surface rust. A few stubborn, barely-noticeable tiny spots of surface rust scattered on front, but otherwise the tag is truly OUTSTANDING! Displays fantastically on your vintage "40s auto or your den or man-cave wall, and it"s a full 75 years old! Plate you see (registration 83-464) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
