1941 1961 Delaware black porcelain car license plate

Very good+, used 100% original 1941 Delaware porcelain enamel passenger car license plate with 1961 renewal tab. No extra holes, no touch-ups, no tears or repairs. The blue dated 3-31-42 tin plates went to just over 59k. New half/quarter year registrations after introduction of the porcelain plates would be in the 60,000 series, months before the majority of folks got the new porcelain plates. This is a nice proper example for a 41 or 42 date tab.
