WWII era 1942 Georgia license plate with GA 43 re-validation tag in overall good condition. The plate and tag appear to have been a set for quite a while based on the consistent aging each of them display. To save on metal for the war effort Georgia issued only the red GA 43 strip to go over the 1942 license plate. The paint is overall good condition. There is rust, dings dents and scratches are present. The re-validation tag has serial number 238361 stamped in the center. If you live in Georgia and have a 1943 year of manufacture vehicle, this is the plate you need to take to your local tag office and register to your vehicle under Georgia’s Historic Authentic Registration 40 Code.
