I have been selling items from my in-laws estate for the past 2 1/2 months. They were avid collectors for 60+ years and I have plenty to chose from. I"m starting into the automotive related items as well as Coke items and other vintage retail store products. Some good and interesting items!
He had quite an extensive license plate collection...most from Virginia (he lived in central Virginia). I"ve pulled some out to sell.
These 1942 plates are obviously in the same condition as they were when someone took them off their car. A few small dings and paint lost...see 1/2 spot in center of one of the plates I made no attempt to clean them and I don"t believe my father-in-law did either.
