This plate is all original with no restoration of any kind. There are some bangs and dings and a few spots of surface rust, so please see the close-up photo for detail. In 1943, only one license plate was issued to Colorado motorists, (not a pair) to conserve metal during World War II. In 1944, no plate was issued, but drivers received a metal tab that was stamped with a number. The entire number did not match the number of the plate, but the county number did match. This tab is the one which originally came with the plate, as both have the county number of 17.Low $4.99 Priority Mail shipping in the US.
