Item is a 1944 North Carolina License Plate / Tag. As seen in Pic 3, there are 2 small holes in tag (probably BB target practice) and a shallow dent to the right of #2. Tag shows moderate to heavy surface corrosion to back and moderate wear to front. Despite flaws, Tag is quite restorable. It has been only lightly cleaned.
