You are bidding on a 1945 DAV tag keychain license plate identifier, #322 260, in fair/good condition for its age. The front of the plate has a celluloid covering which does not appear or feel to be broken. The full size plates for this year were a dark blue with orange lettering, which do not show up very well when reduced to this size. The metal frame around the plate is all there, and is in fair/good condition. but the chrome is dull and worn. The rear of the tag, where the small print is, shows considerable wear and surface loss. This was found in my dad"s workshop in a cigar box filled with lathe turned bullets he made at his defense job during the war, working for Hotpoint Appliances, Chicago.
