Medium-weight tag has a chocolate-brown base with cream/off-white embossed lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still excellent paint gloss! If you look closely, you can see that this is a rather unique plate, as the registration has been stamped into it on a slight diagonal from top left towards bottom right. From the year the USA and its allies emerged victorious in World War II!
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO extra holes, NO BENDS, and NO SURFACE RUST. The only imperfections are a few scratches, scuffsand paint chips. Plate metal and paint are nonetheless TOTALLY SOLID. Mounts fantastically on your vintage "40s auto or your den or man-cave wall. In great shape AND a full 70 years old!
