Here is a unique vintage 1948 Maine Brass Passenger License Plates in Very Good Condition that has been in my collection a number of years. This particular License Plate had the original paint removed some years back (this was done before I acquired this) although some small black marks remain. There is also what appears to be a nail hole between the 9 and 4 in the date. This is a unique example of a Maine Brass License Plate that is 68 years old. Please study the picture carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize.
A word about Shipping ... I am a firm believer in using Priority Mail for shipping items for both speed in delivery and insurance offered by the Postal Service. Even with the recent increase in Postage Rates I have decided not to raise my Shipping Costs and will absorb this increase.
