A very unique 1948 Virginia plate. I believe I"ve heard that the CH in front meant it was for a Commercial Vehicle for Hire. Maybe there are some license plate experts out that who can confirm that. In any case, it"s a pretty decent plate. Has it"s share of chipped paint and a couple small dents, but no rust to speak of. The paint that is left is in really nice condition.
