Here"s a nice pair of 1949 California License Plate Year Tabs. If you have a vintage 1949 vehicle in CA, then you can register it with the original type issued license plates per the CA DMV YOM (year of manufacture) license plate program. For the year 1949, you would need a pair of DMV clear 1947 license plates AND a pair of these "49 tabs. These tabs were issued in pairs with the registration numbered tab for the rear license plate and the plane, non numbered tab for the front license plate. The number on the tab does NOT have to match the number on the license plates. The tabs have been touched up on the numbers. The top (non numbered) tab in the picture appears to have never been mounted--the tab has no bend marks Any questions, please contact me prior to bidding.
