very nice unrestored 100% original New York license plate pair, with single frame included a shown. 1951 issue; number NV 81-00. 13 x 6 inches; orange legend on black background. the plates lie almost completely straight and flat, with just a bit of prison warp to them. that"s how they all came off the press. very good unrestored quality - each plate has just a bit of rust.
I"m also including the Packard Hempstead frame. it has a similar patina to the plates and is 100% original as well.
DMV clear as of 4/26/2016. may be registered on your 1951 vehicle for road use, or - with the appropriate tab - your 1952. perfect for your Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, Studebaker, or DeLorean.
please note that New York DMV is a stickler for original plates. these fit the bill perfectly. however, after registration, you are free to restore the plates. please contact me if you would like the plates restored. I have included two photos - before and after - of a Wisconsin pair I just redid. similar quality is assured for this NY pair. Wisconsin 1929 photos shown just for reference; those plates are not included with this auction!
