This 1951 TENNESSEE LICENSE PLATE was made in the shape of the STATE OF TENNESSEE and was registered in SHELBY COUNTY. The colors on the Plate are the UNIVERSITY of TENNESSEE Colors - ORANGE with WHITE LETTERING.
As the pictures show, the plate is in great condition with little wear. I sold a previous 1951 Tennessee license plate with the same number that had surface rust and dings. This plate is in far, far better shape. This plate doesn"t seem to have been installed on a vehicle as there is very little, if any, damage at the four mounting holes. Please see pics!
