“Scratches and surface rust”

This pair of low numbered New Jersey plate was issued in 1952 and were used until 1956. It was used hand has some nicks and scratches and small bends, as shown, from being mounted on a car with some surface rust around the mounting holes there is some old car wax residue around the letters and numbers. I have not cleaned the plates, they are in as found condition.
