You are bidding on an EXCELLENT, vintage 1952 MICHIGAN license plate! Heavier, larger steel tag has a medium-gray base with jet black embossed lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and decent paint gloss left on it! Appears to be (but not confirmed) from Ingham County, in south-central Michigan, including the capital, Lansing, East Lansing, Mason, Leslie, and Williamston.
Plate is straight and lies completely flat, with NO BENDS and NO EXTRA HOLES and almost NO surface rust. At one point there was a protruding dent in the first 1, in the center of the tag, but this has been essentially straightened out. Like all Michigan plates of this period, this one is totally SOLID and HEFTY. Displays fantastically on your vintage "50s vehicle or your den or man-cave wall!
