You are bidding on a BRILLIANT, vintage 1953 KENTUCKY license plate! Medium-weight tag has a dark royal blue base with bright white embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still SUPERB paint gloss! From Warren County, in southern Kentucky, including Bowling Green, Oakland, Plum Springs, Woodburn, and Smiths Grove. Like most Kentucky plates, it uses the school colors of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and includes the TOUR KENTUCKY slogan at top.
Plate is totally STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS, NO EXTRA HOLES and NO SURFACE RUST. White paint is STRONG and stands out very nicely from blue base. Displays fantastically on your vintage "50s auto or your den or man-cave wall, AND it"s over 60 years old! Plate you see (registration 853-859) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
