You are bidding on a an un-issued 1955 Yukon Territory Canada Motorcycle License plate. This plate has never been issued as its a test sample. The colours are similar to those of the expires 31-3-55 trailer plates etc. Check out this webpage http://www.bcpl8s.ca/Yukon/Trailer.html This plate came from the George Hewitt company which made the Yukon Territory license plates from at least 1924 until the Okalla prison Farm in British Columbia took over in 1958. I obtained several test samples back in the early 90"s when the original owners son sold the company.
