Here"s a pretty nice pair of California 1956 base License Plate and they are guaranteed clear for the CA DMV YOM (Year of Manufacture) licensing program. If you have a vintage 1956-1962 vehicle in CA, then you can register it with these license plates. For the years 1957-1962, you will also need the appropriate year sticker. The year stickers are generally available on ebay (see bobsplatesandstickers). Per usual, the front plate needs a little work. Just going to add a note here: The plate with the sticker really needs nothing done to it. If you are putting this pair on a "56, then just remove the sticker, shine it up and it is ready to go. For a "57-62 vehicle you can either remove the sticker and then put on the appropriate year sicker or just put it over the one that is there. The mate is the one that obviously needs work. The last time I sent a plate to Joe in this condition, he restored it for $50.
