This plate is in Very Good condition, with all original paint that is still glossy after 60 years. There are a few minor imperfections, so please see the close-up photo for detail. The white marks in the lower left area are actually fingerprint smudges, resulting from the plate having being handled before the paint was dry during original manufacture.This is the dated 1956 base plate, validated for 1957 with a metal year tab.
