1956 California License Plates

This auction is for two matching authentic 1956 California automotive license plates. The plates are both overall in very good shape considering their age though do have some wear including some paint wearing, scratches, and what looks to be light rusting (most of the wear is around the edges or on the ridge lines near the edges - you can drag your mouse over each picture to see close-ups of the plates and where exactly the wear is). The plates have some slight bending as well though overall they are still pretty straight. I"ve recently called the DVD at the time of my call was told that these plates were clear and not on record. Please ask if there are any questions. A camera flash was used in some of the plate pictures here which resulted in the plates looking a little orange in color. If purchasing outside of the US please be aware that import taxes may be charged by your Post Office & are the buyer"s responsibility to pay. (Please do not ask me to declare this as a gift or with a low value on the Customs forms).
