This is a set of vintage original 1956 - 1962 California TRUCK license plates that have never been mounted. This is all original paint, not a restored set. No dents or bends. These are authentic plates, not duplicates. Good for use on any TRUCK from 1956 - 62. Original envelopes they come in were not found. Plates are in near mint condition. Certainly a rare find.
According to the California DMV, this letter/number combination on the plates is clear for use. All you need is a "California sticker" to apply to the plate of your choice reflecting the year of your TRUCK, unless it is a "56 model. Plenty of the "57 - "62 stickers can be found here on by typing in the search box "California sticker" followed by the year of the TRUCK.
The plates are clean and being stored in protective plastic sleeves in my smoke free home.
