This is a 1957 Idaho motorcycle license plate, number 4391. It is made of steel, measures 4 x 6-1/4 and is painted white on green. It"s in very good condition.
The white paint on the numbers was applied using a machine called a rollcoater. That"s how it was originally manufactured. There are no brush marks or masking tape edges.
