Lightweight steel tag has a bright white base with jet-black embossed lettering. 100% original, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still FANTASTIC paint gloss. Includes the familiar star separator on most Texas plates near the center. Despite its huge size and large population, Texas is a TOUGH STATE for finding nice pre-1970 license plates!
Plate is straight and lies totally flat, with absolutely NO bends, NO EXTRA HOLES, and NO SURFACE RUST. All surface rust has been cleared away. Some chips to paint and scratches, as shown, but plate metal and paint are TOTALLY SOLID. Displays superbly on your vintage "50s auto or your den, garage, or man-cave wall, and it"s nearly 60 years old! Plate you see (registration RT-6951) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
