These plates have some bangs, bends and scrapes - condition is not great, but the right person will be surely able to improve them, perhaps with a little easy work with a rubber mallet and a dark green sharpie. It would be well worth it, because I have seen pairs in worse shape than these sell for $50 or more at car shows. This is the undated base plate, in use from 1958 through 1962. This pair is validated with a 1960 sticker, and it looks like at least one prior year"s sticker is beneath it. These plates are all original, with no restoration of any kind.
