You are bidding on a SUPER, vintage 1958 FLORIDA license plate! Lightweight aluminum tag has a deep forest-green base with bright white embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still EXCELLENT paint gloss! Includes the SUNSHINE STATE motto embossed at the bottom. From Volusia County, in eastern Florida, including DeLand, Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, and Ponce Inlet.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with NO BENDS and almost NO SURFACE RUST. (One streak of stubborn rust is visible on back near top corner.) There is also one small nail hole (barely visible) at the top center near the rim, clearly from an old mounting job, that does not affect display or integrity of plate metal or paint--they are TOTALLY SOLID. Displays fantastically on your vintage "50s auto or your den or man-cave wall AND it"s a full 45 years old! Plate you see (registration 8M/H-1452) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
