Medium-weight tag has a navy base with embossed golden yellow lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still FANTASTIC paint gloss! Includes the embossed yellow box at the top with the slogan SAFETY PAYS. Registered in Elkhart County, in northern Indiana, including Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, Bristol, and Middlebury.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS and NO SURFACE RUST. All very minor surface rust has been cleaned away. There are a few scattered paint chips, as shown in photos, that could be easily touched up if buyer desired. Plate metal and paint are nonetheless TOTALLY SOLID. Mounts fantastically on your vintage "50s auto or your den or man-cave wall. In great shape AND nearly 60 years old! Plate you see (registration GG 8662) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
