Here is a beautiful vintage 1958 Maine Sample Passenger License Plates in Very Good Condition that has been in my collection a number of years. The condition issues are slight marks on the bolt holes and raised border from age and where this plate was mounted on a display board. There is a nick on the upper left section of the plate (which could be a manufacturing flaw ... but I am not certain) and some deterioration of the Scotchlite Background which is somewhat common with this type of reflectorization. The 1958 Tab is in Excellent Condition and this particular plate does not feature an embossed 56. This is a nice example of a Sample License Plates that is 58 years old. Please study the pictures carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize..
