You are bidding on an EXCELLENT, vintage 1959 NORTH CAROLINA license plate! Medium-weight tag has a jet-black base with golden yellow embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still SUPER paint gloss. Includes the DRIVE SAFELY slogan embossed at top center!
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS and NO EXTRA HOLES, and NO SURFACE RUST. There are some areas of rough surfaces and minor paint loss, as shown, mostly on back, due to old surface rust that has been cleaned off. Yellow lettering, however, is strong and stands out well against black base. Plate metal is TOTALLY SOLID. Mounts fantastically on your vintage "50s auto or your den or man-cave wall. In great shape for being over 55 years old! Plate you see (registration 9849-KH) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
