Here is an EXCELLENT, vintage 1960 INDIANA license plate! Medium-weight tag has a navy base with embossed bright white lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still FANTASTIC paint gloss! Includes the embossed white box at the top with the slogan SAFETY PAYS. Registered in Elkhart County, in northeastern Indiana, including Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, Bristol, and Middlebury.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS, NO EXTRA HOLES, and NO SURFACE RUST. Nearly all very minor surface rust has been cleaned away. Also a few very minor paint chips from old rust, barely visible in photos. Plate metal and paint are nonetheless TOTALLY SOLID.
