very nice unrestored 100% original New York license plate pair. 1960 issue; number 1559 NU. 12 x 6 inches; yellow-orange legend on black background. the plates lie completely straight and flat. very good unrestored quality - each plate has just a bit of rust.
frames are not included with this auction but may be had for a very reasonable additional cost. please inquire.
DMV clear as of 8/19/2016. may be registered on your 1960 vehicle for road use, or - with the correct tab - your 1961. I have 1961 tabs; please inquire at time of purchase. perfect for your Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, Pontiac, or DeLorean.
please note that New York DMV is a stickler for original plates. these fit the bill perfectly. however, after registration, you are free to restore the plates. please contact me if you would like the plates restored. I have included two photos - before and after - of a Wisconsin pair I just redid. similar quality is assured for this NY pair.
