THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA allows collector vehicles (trailers/campers to be registered, street-legal, with vintage license plates corresponding to the model year of the vehicle. This is known as the YOM (Year of Manufacture) program, and applies to auto, trailers and motorcycles. The DMV requires a validation sticker corresponding with the year of your manufactured trailer.
