This plate is in Very Good condition, with all original paint that is still glossy after more than half a century. There are some minor imperfections, so please see the close-up photo for detail.This is the 1959 base license plate validated for 1963 with a natural sticker - natural meaning that no other stickers from any other years have ever been on the plate. This is quite remarkable, considering that these "59 bases were valid on Connecticut roads all the way up to the year 2000. Most original "59 bases you will find today are quite faded, and often bear a sloppy mess of stickers from multiple years.
Please note that 1963 was the very first sticker used on Connecticut license plates. This particular one is in beautiful condition.
