This is a set of very, very nice condition 1964 Massachusetts license plates. These are nice enough to register with the RMV and run on a 1964 car as year of manufacture plates. I ran them on my 1964 Plymouth Valiant convertible for the three years that I lived there. I have since moved and unregistered my plates, meaning if you buy these you can register them on your old car (I would not suggest going to the Watertown RMV -- they are notoriously difficult. I went to Milford and it was no problem, and have heard both Southbridge and Leominster are good spots as well). These are original paint (As they have to be) and in excellent shape, no rust (my car was parked in a garage October - April when I lived there).
If you are looking to register year of manufacture plates, the RMV will turn you down if the plates are rusted out, damaged, missing paint, or repainted. These are original plates in excellent shape that were registered last year and are now free to be registered to another vehicle.
Possible cars include the whole 1964 run: Dodge: Dart, 330, 440, Polara; Plymouth: Savoy, Valiant, Belvedere, Fury; Ford: Corsair, Country Sedan, Country Squire, Custom 500, Falcon, Fairlane, Galaxie, GT40, Mustang, Ranchero; Chevrolet: Corvette, 400, Bel Air, Biscayne, C-10, Chevelle, Chevy II, Corvair, El Camino, Greenbrier, Malibu, etc., and of course other manufacturers and models from 1964.
