Here is a SUPER, vintage 1965 INDIANA license plate! Medium-weight tag has a kelly green base with bright white embossed reflective lettering. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still excellent paint gloss! Registered in Allen County, in northeastern Indiana, including Fort Wayne, New Haven, and Woodburn.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with absolutely NO BENDS. There are a few minor areas of surface rust where paint has chipped, which could be cleaned away fairly easily, and there are two nail holes, one near the 6 in the date and one near the second I in the state name at the bottom. (Undoubtedly from an old mounting job, these are barely noticeable.) Plate metal and paint are TOTALLY SOLID. Mounts fantastically on your vintage "60s auto or your den or man-cave wall.
