Here is a nice vintage 1967 Maine Sample Passenger License Plates in Very Good Plus (some would say in Near Excellent Condition) that has been in my collection a number of years. The condition issues are slight marks on the bolt holes and raised border from age and where this plate was mounted on a display board. There is general wear on the raised areas which, for the most part, were production issues when this plate was first manufactured. This particular plate is from the newer reflectorized material first used in Maine in mid-to-late 1965. This is a very nice example of a Sample License Plate that is 49 years old. Please study the pictures carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize..
