Here is a SUPERB, vintage 1968 base MINNESOTA license plate! Medium-weight tag has a reflective off-white base with blue embossed lettering and rims. 100% ORIGINAL, with NO TOUCH-UPS, and still very nice paint gloss! Includes the state nickname 10,000 LAKES recessed inside embossed rims at the top, and a renewal sticker for 1970 at the top left corner. Leading 2 in registration denotes it was registered in Minnesota"s 2nd Congressional district, in the southern part of the Twin Cities metro area, including Eagan, Cottage Grove, Burnsville, and Northfield.
Plate is straight and lies flat, with absolutely NO BENDS and NO EXTRA HOLES. There are some minor paint chips, along with scattered minor scratches, and a few tiny areas of surface rust on the reverse, as shown. These could easily be touched up if desired, or left as is to preserve the vintage character! Displays fantastically on your vintage "60s or "70s auto or your den, garage, or man-cave wall, AND it"s nearly 50 years old. Plate you see (registration 2RL 213) is the exact plate you"ll receive.
