1970 OKLAHOMA TRACTOR License Plate # 717 - 866 - Never Used
Nothing like finding old items, never used, in storage! (I have found a number of license plates that would bring back memories for someone.) This unused plate from 1970 is still in new condition. Be aware, however, of normal age discoloration acquired during decades of storage as I believe the surface enamel has aged in the past 45 years; look carefully at my picture to see the condition of this plate. It would probably be possible to bleach the plate gently to make the white enamel bright white once again, I am not sure.
I have collected lots of plates but am not an expert on vintage Oklahoma plates, and honest don"t know if this plate was intended for display on a farm tractor to make it legal for pulling a trailer on a public highway, of for a tractor-trailer truck.

A personal note: I live on a farm in Kentucky, but over the years have collected lots of items that were of interest to ME. Now, in 2015, at age 77, I have begun offering quite a few items from my collections to others who might possibly be interested in having them. Most of my prices will start pretty low. If you have questions, please e-mail me.
NOTE: I ask the buyer of a collectable license plate to contribute toward the costs of packaging and postage. I pay the remainder of the shipping costs.
