In completing my Rhode Island run many years ago, the natural sticker 1970 plate was the very last license plate I was able to find - I even had not one, but two R.I. Registers before I found a nice natural "70 plate! Natural means that no other stickers from any other year have ever been on the plate.According to the ALPCA archives, the 1970 sticker was issued for passenger plates ONLY if the number began with a Q, Y or Z.This plate still has nice gloss after 46 years, but there are some bangs and scuffs.
