ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID WITHIN 72
HOURS OF CLOSE (3 DAYS) OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RE-LIST AND RE-SELL THIS
ITEM. CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED MORE THAN 72 HOURS AS I WORK VERY WELL WITH MY
CUSTOMERS
Buy with Confidence: I describe my
items as well as possible with my knowledge and background and include HD
photos so you know what to expect. (Ask for more photos if you want). IF I miss
something in the description and/or state something incorrectly, I stand behind
the item and, therefore offer a refund of the purchase price. This will be based on an email discussion
between us, after you have received the item and have contacted me. IF a refund is negotiated between us, then
the purchase price will be refunded via Pay Pal (IF paid via Pay Pal) so I can
get a refund of the Pay Pal and EBAY costs involved. IF we negotiate a return
on the item, no refund will be issued until I receive the returned item. ONLY
IF I am 100% at fault in the transaction, do I refund shipping costs. IF you missed something in the description
or in the photos, then I am NOT 100% at fault and you pay the shipping
costs. Under these terms solely, I have
changed some of my listings to include a Refund Policy. (As an example, I sold an album of Lincoln
pennies which included one wrong coin in one of the spots. The date was wrong
and the included coin was, of course, less valuable, and I was 100% in error.
The coin was placed in the album in the 1950’s and I didn’t catch it. The
photos showed the incorrect date. My
fault, and I settled with the collector to our mutual satisfaction.) Be sure to review my feedback also.
Shipping: Shipping method is usually stated in the
auction with the approximate box size and weight. I usually use the U. S. Post
Office and occasionally UPS. I do NOT
get a discount from any shipper, but will be happy to work with any carrier you
have an account with, in order to save you shipping costs. (Example: Sold 4 high speed tires to a
customer in California and my shipping cost via FedEX would have been about
$22.00 per tire. Using his company’s account the shipping cost was under $11.00
each.) IF you prefer another method,
contact me and we’ll try to accommodate. I always pack items to withstand abuse in shipping and usually include
shipment protection for the more expensive items to make sure you receive what
you purchased in the stated condition. Of course, you can always request
shipment protection and we can negotiate the extra cost. By bidding on any of
my items, you agree to co-operate with any shipper regarding any insurance
claim for loss or damage to the purchased item, if shipment protection was
placed on the item and to accept my choice of shipper where any special
circumstances exist, such as International shipments requiring receipt signature
or other special items and agree to pay such charges prior to shipment.
International Shipping: This can
be a problem. I have shipped items all over the world, including classic cars
to 18 countries. Small but expensive
items require your signature. Many countries have restrictions. IF you are a
buyer in a foreign country, YOU are responsible for determining IF the item you
are bidding on may be shipped to your area and YOU are responsible for ALL
costs. IF you win and I cannot ship the item to you with required signature I
reserve the right to cancel the auction and refund any money paid by you. Example: FedEx will not ship coins to
Russia. UPS will not do it either AND will not ship anything to non approved
addresses.
Feedback: Feedback will be left for the buyer upon
completion of the transaction which is when you, the customer, is fully
satisfied. IF you are not satisfied,
please contact me ASAP and let’s resolve any issues. When I receive your feedback that you are satisfied with our
transaction, then I will respond with my feedback. I have never left a negative, or neutral, feedback on any item I
purchased or sold because I believe it’s best to contact the seller, or buyer,
first and explain the issues. This has always worked out well for both parties.
Animals and smoking: Lately I have
had some inquiries from potential buyers about conditions in our home and I
respect such concern. No one smokes in
our home and never has. I’ve been
selling coins from my dad’s collection recently and he was a smoker (died of
Emphysema in1972) and I’ve been selling American Indian items from a friends’
30-year collection and no one smoked in his family. We cannot attest to the conditions of the owners prior to my friend
acquiring the items. We have always had a dog, but never any cats.
Please feel free to contact me
with any questions.
