This plate is from 1977 and comes in the original CA DOT envelope and plastic sleeve. I found the original bank information in the envelope as well to show that it was from the car my uncle bought while stationed with the Navy in San Diego. Bank documents show 1977. It was on the car as there are a couple of scratched on the top two holes where the plate bolts were tightened. Paper shows he bought a 1970 Corvette Convertible for $1800. Lucky guy.
