Here is a beautiful vintage undated Maine Sample Passenger License Plates with FEB 80 through FEB 83 Sample Stickers in Excellent Condition that has been in my collection a number of years. This particular sample has MAINE centered at the top which was a design that replaced the off-center MAINE 74 style. The condition issues are slight marks on a couple of the bolt holes from being mounted on a display board. The Sample Stickers are placed in the proper locations during a time Maine used a Round the Clock style for placement and for FEB 83 only Motorcycle-size Sample Stickers were made available. This is a very nice example of a (and I think one of the nicest) Sample License Plate that is over 33 years old. Please study the pictures carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize.
